Introduction
The Department of Management Studies offers two undergraduate degree programs: Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS ) and Bachelor of Commerce (Business Administration) [B.Com. (Business Administration)]. Both are three-year, six-semester programs designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to meet evolving industry demands and build successful professional careers.
Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS)
The BMS program is an AICTE-approved undergraduate degree that provides a strong foundation in the principles and practices of management. During the first year, students are introduced to the core concepts of various management functions, enabling them to develop a comprehensive understanding of the business environment.
From the third semester onwards, students can pursue a specialization based on their interests and career aspirations. The specializations currently offered by the college are:

Bachelor of Commerce (Business Administration) [B.Com. (Business Administration)]
Introduced from the academic year 2026–27 under the University of Mumbai, the B.Com. (Business Administration) program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of contemporary business and commerce practices.
The curriculum covers fundamental areas of business administration, commerce, management, finance, marketing, entrepreneurship, and related disciplines, ensuring that students develop a well-rounded perspective of the modern business landscape. The program aims to nurture analytical thinking, decision-making abilities, and professional competencies that are essential in today's dynamic business environment.
Both programs are structured to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations, enabling graduates to pursue higher education, professional qualifications, and diverse career opportunities in the corporate sector.
Eligibility
Eligibility for BMS (AICTE Approved)
A candidate for being eligible for admission to the B.M.S Degree programme should have passed H.S.C. Examination of the Maharashtra Board of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examinations or Diploma in any Engineering branches with 2 or 3 years duration after S.S.C. conducted by the Board of Technical Education of Maharashtra State or its equivalent examination by securing minimum 45% for general category,(in one attempt) at the respective examination and minimum 40% marks for the reserved category students(in one attempt).
Candidate should have qualified MHCET and the candidate's name should appear in the merit list declared by MHCET Cell for the institute.
Every candidate admitted to the Degree programme in the constitute/affiliated college/recognized institution, conducting the programme, shall have to register himself/herself with the University of Mumbai.
Note: However,the final decision of admission to FYBMS will depend upon the AICTE norms and guidelines and BMS MHCET results.
Eligibility for B.Com. (Business Administration)
A candidate for being eligible for admission to the B.Com. (Business Administration) Degree Course shall have passed H.S.C. Examination of the Maharashtra Board of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination or Diploma in any Engineering branches with two years or three years duration after S.S.C. conducted by the Board of Technical Education, Maharashtra State or its equivalent examination in one attempt. The admissions are purely based on merit duly following the reservation policy as per the norms of Government of Maharashtra. While drawing the merit list, weightage is given to students from Arts, Commerce and Science Stream at 12th standard level. The stream wise weightage is as under:

Please note:
- Admission will be based on merit list which shall be prepared and displayed stream-wise
- If the seats remain vacant in “Diploma in Engineering & Others” after all the merit lists/forms are exhausted, the vacant seats shall be transferred to Commerce Stream.
- Similarly, if no application is received from any stream the vacant seats shall be distributed equally between the remaining two streams only.
