NLIST stands for “National Library and Information Services Infrastructure for Scholarly Content”.
It is a project of UGC & INFLIBNET Center (which itself is a Network developed by UGC.), AICTE & IIT-Delhi. The N-LIST project provides access to e-resources to students, researchers and faculty from colleges and other beneficiary institutions through server(s) installed at the INFLIBNET Centre. The authorized users from colleges can now access e-resources and download articles required by them directly from the publisher’s website once they are duly authenticated as authorized users through servers deployed at the INFLIBNET Centre.
OPAC or Online Public Access Catalogue is the online catalogue of the library through which users can search for resources available in the library. The OPAC also helps in knowing the status of resources such as issued or on-shelf & also borrowing status of the users.
